Terms of Service
By booking the Services of Good Life Tarot you are agreeing to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions of Use. You further certify that you are at least 18 years of age.
Liability Disclaimer
Good Life Tarot makes no representation or warranty, express or implied, as to the information, content, materials, or services offered by their Tarot readers. By booking Good Life Tarot’s services, you explicitly acknowledge that all Tarot readings and advice arising there from are provided and intended for the sole purpose of entertainment.
Payment Policy
Event and Party Bookings:
1. A deposit of 50% is required on confirmation of event booking, and full payment is due on or immediately after the event, by e-transfer, cash or PayPal.
2. Seven day advance cancellation notice is required for event bookings otherwise the 50% deposit will be forfeit.
3. If the event continues past midnight rates increase. If additional time is to be added to the event without pre-booking premium rates also apply.
4. Good Life Tarot’s reader and the client will discuss and clarify all aspects of the event prior to the event so that expectations are clear and confirmed.
Tarot Consultations (In-Person, Online and Email Readings) :
1. All in-person, online video calls, and email Tarot readings are to be paid for beforehand via secure e-payment at https://goodlifetarot.com/.
2. Policy on lateness, cancellation and no-shows: 24-hour advance notice is required to reschedule in-person readings and online video call readings. If you do not give sufficient advance notice of cancellation, your fee for the appointment will be forfeited. Please take the time to email or call Good Life Tarot’s reader if you need to reschedule. If you find that you are late for a reading, it is better to reschedule as the reading will still finish at the originally scheduled time. No extension of the appointment will be made. This is to allow all clients of Good Life Tarot to have sufficient time for a personal reading. The Tarot reader will wait 15 minutes from the start of the scheduled appointment time for your late arrival, but after that if you are not there, this is then considered this to be a no-show.
3. Good Life Tarot does not offer refunds for their services, for any reason. Please shop mindfully. If you are not uncertain that our services are right for you, please get in touch with Good Life Tarot. Alternatively, read through Good Life Tarot’s blog and social media platforms to gain a better understanding of our services and see testimonials from clients.
4. Services Agreement: You will be remitting payment as a “Service”, not “Goods.” You’re not paying Good Life Tarot for a product. Good Life Tarot provides a supportive service to you by providing skilled knowledge, experience and advice, which is customised to each client.
Code of Ethics
General Philosophy
This code of ethics applies to the certified Tarot reader of Good Life Tarot. Good Life Tarot will treat each person with respect and provide a personal, confidential space for the reading. The reader will endeavour to provide a reading as clearly and in the most helpful manner as possible for a client. The reader’s wish is to help people move forward to achieve their true life goals in a manner that resonates best with their situation. Good Life Tarot believes that a person should use Tarot as an aid to make conscious actions to achieve their life goals. Tarot should not be used to define each decision made in life.
Purpose of a Reading
Good Life Tarot readings is suited to give you the most likely outcome based on your situation at the time of the reading. Tarot is not the best divination medium for concrete predictions as our future is forever changeable, depending on the actions we take. As a result, questions looking for a definite predictive outcome are difficult to answer.
Tarot can be used to help you see what options you have available to you to help you achieve your life goals or ideal outcome. The reading will include questions to help clarify your situation as clearly as possible for you to be able to decide how you can proceed to realise your goals.
What Tarot Should Not be Used For
- Direct third party questions, e.g. spouse, friend, colleague. What is possible to clarify with a Tarot reading is how your relationship with the third party is working.
- Minors. Good Life Tarot will only read for people aged 18 years or older. By requesting a reading, Good Life Tarot will assume that you are over 18 years old. In any event where minors may wish to have a reading, Good Life Tarot will require parental/guardian written consent.
- For health or medical-related questions, Good Life Tarot will always recommend seeking appropriate professional medical advice. The Tarot can help you focus on how to live through an illness or how to help others, but it does not replace professional advice.
- For legal questions, Good Life Tarot would recommend seeking professional legal advice. Tarot can be used to help you cope with your situation in the best manner possible during ongoing legal issues. It is not possible to predict a legal outcome with Tarot.
Good Life Tarot will only do readings on questions or situations which do no harm to others nor involve illegal activities. In turn, Good Life Tarot reserves the right to refuse a reading if the reader feels a person is becoming too dependant on Tarot in making their own decisions.
Good Life Tarot would recommend at least six weeks between readings on the same topic, but this will vary depending on the question and the topic being read for. If Good Life Tarot does have to refuse a reading which the reader feels will cross their code of ethics, Good Life Tarot will endeavour to find a replacement reader if possible.
Communication
As part of maintaining strict confidentiality, Good Life Tarot undertakes to securely store any data we have on client readings in a non-identifiable manner. No identifiable personal data will be stored by Good Life Tarot. To be able to temporarily store your reading for easy referral to, your name and date of the reading request will be stored. Communication will be sent via encrypted media.
Good Life Tarot aims to provide a reading with as much impartiality as possible. If a reading request arises where the reader feels they cannot be impartial, Good Life Tarot will inform the client and not provide the reading.
In situations where Good Life Tarot feels the communication between the reader and a client has deteriorated to a point where a neutral reading cannot be provided, Good Life Tarot will not perform the reading. Where possible, Good Life Tarot will advise the client of an alternative reader.
